Resident Physiotherapist

I graduated with a BSc Biology degree from McKendree University in Illinois where I played D2 NCAA tennis for four years. Multiple injuries and time spent with the trainers had inspired me to pursue a career in rehabilitation.

Through COVID I was a tennis instructor in Pickering before deciding to attend physio school. I graduated with an MSc Degree in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen Scotland, class of 2024.

My clinical experience consists of placements in orthopaedic, HDU/ICU, and acute stroke settings in a variety of hospitals in Scotland, along with a short period at Grandview Kids here in Durham. With a strong background in exercise prescription, I like to take a patient centered approach towards building exercise programs designed for individual patient needs. Motion is lotion and movement is the best medicine!

Outside of physiotherapy, I live a very active lifestyle. While playing tennis less, I have picked up new sports to play such as golf and volleyball. During my time in Scotland, I even learned to play Gaelic Football. My family has lived in the Courtice area for my whole life and I have seen this community grow and develop. I am thrilled to be apart of a clinic that is apart of my hometown and begin a new chapter in my life.
